A big hello, by Mrs Lister
Date: 20th Apr 2015 @ 5:04pm
Hello and welcome back to you all. We have had a super day in school. The sun is shining and everyone looks to have grown over Easter. It must be all the yummy, scrummy Easter eggs the children have been eating.
Today we have been reading the story of the Rainbow fish and thinking of adjectives to describe him. Can you tell your adult the start of the story?

Year 5 Viking Day, by Mr Helsby
Date: 20th Apr 2015 @ 4:55pm
Today we spent the day with a real life Viking! We even dressed up as Vikings! He told us all about where they came from and how they lived their lives. He also gave us a spear and a shield and shown us how to march into battle! We are now definitely Viking experts. We had great fun and will not forget our amazing experience.

What time do you have tea?
What time is bed time?
What time do you leave the house for school in the morning?
How long does it take you to travel to school?

What a busy day in Queen's Park today even though it started really wet and windy - hail stones in April! It didn't stop our early morning dancers! Emma, our dance teacher, had them working hard and having fun!
Our Year 6 children and staff are working so hard in preparation for the end of key stages tests. Not long now year 6! Keep it up! I already proud of the efforts you are putting in.
